Tango Warwick Argentine tango classes & practica continue this Friday 28th Feb, then 13th, 20th, 27th March,...
Come along if you can-you will be made most welcome!
The classes & practica will continue on Fridays apart from the first Friday of each month.
The first class, at 6.30, will be designed with those who started tango recently in mind, but will benefit dancers of all levels. Many experience dancers take it or at least come as early as they can.
There will be the usual more advanced classes later in the evening, restricted to more experienced dancers and by permission of the teacher. Most students find joining in the basic classes useful, or essential, even while taking the most advanced ones. Of course we will be very happy to have newcomers.
The practica is after the third class but is open and free to those who have done any of the classes, and a nominal charge to others--you could always bring something to read in the hall or lobby or go round the corner to a pub or cafe and come back at 9.30?
Our "resident" teachers are Luis Rodrigues & Elizabeth Knock. Their philosophy is to teach what you need for social dancing, anywhere in the world with anyone who is ready to dance, and their dancing style is of beautiful simplicity. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TeD0NNQfqwk&feature=youtu.be
Their base is "Tango y nada mas" in London:https://www.facebook.com/untangoynadamas/?fref=nf
