As long a day as you will have this year---so let's Vals away some of it! Luis Rodrigues & Elizabeth Knock will be concentrating on Tango Vals this Friday at St Mary's from 7.30 until practica time at 9.30 pm. The first class will be on tango techniques with beginners welcome. Usual details below.

DETAILS FOR FRIDAY 24TH JUNE (essentially as usual, but Vals):
We welcome single dancers as well as couples, newcomers as well as those we haven't seen for months, irregulars and regulars alike.
Beginners should join the 6.30 pm class. Experienced dancers also join it in order to perfect their techniques, and help bring on beginners.
The 7.15 pm and 8.30 pm classes are for more experienced dancers (in Argentine Tango) -if that fits you please come-you will get a warm welcome. If in doubt ask the teachers for advice. In the 7.15 class on 24th June the fundamentals of Tango Vals will be introduced, with the more advanced 3rd class devoted to that lovely dance.
The evening is completed by a sociable and lively practica, with some wine, soft drinks and cake. Juan de Scarfo will be guest DJ. It will be instructive, friendly, and a very enjoyable evening's dancing.
The teachers are our superb "resident" teachers: Luis Rodriguez and Elizabeth Knock. Their emphasis on elegance and musicality and with dancing in milongas in mind has made them justly popular.

6.30-7.30 Fundamentals (including beginners). Please arrive at least 5 minutes early so we can start on time.
7.15-8.15 Fundamentals and vals for tango improvers;
8.15pm for 8.30-9.30 Intermediate/Advanced vals;
9.30-10.30 (approx) Practica. DJ : de Scarfo

Covid Precautions: we will not ask for proof of anything. However if you have had a reasonable possibility of being infected, eg by going on public transport, or visiting a crowded pub, or if you have any likely symptoms, please do take a test as near to the start time as possible, or do not come.
