Milonga classes at St Mary's/Ricardo Peixoto DJ's for August Milonga Ideal/ Commonwealth Games.

Luis & Elizabeth's classes for Tango Warwick, and Practica, at St Mary's will concentrate on milonga  from around 7.30 pm, following the usual Fundamental's class at 6.30 to which beginners are welcome. Usual details repeated below. The forecast is for cool weather but anyway St Mary's has shown recently  how it can remain cool  with through drafts and open skylights.

 The August edition of Milonga La Ideal at Warwick SPACE will have Ricardo Peixoto as DJ, so make sure it is in your diaries.

Usual details for July 22nd:

We welcome single dancers as well as couples, newcomers as well as those we haven't seen for months, irregulars and regulars alike.

Beginners should join the 6.30 pm class. Experienced dancers also join it in order to perfect their techniques, and help bring on beginners.
The 7.15 pm and 8.30 pm classes are for more experienced dancers (in Argentine Tango)- if in doubt ask the teachers-and if that fits you please come-you will get a warm welcome.

The evening is completed by a sociable and lively practica, with some wine, soft drinks and cake. It will be instructive, friendly, and a very enjoyable evening's dancing.

The teachers are our superb "resident" teachers: Luis Rodriguez and Elizabeth Knock. Their emphasis on elegance and musicality and with dancing in milongas in mind has made them justly popular.

TIMING:
FRIDAY 22nd July:
6.30-7.30 Fundamentals (including beginners). Please arrive a a few minutes early to start on time.
7.15-8.15 Fundamentals and improvers for milonga;
8.15pm for 8.30-9.30 Intermediate/Advanced milonga class.
9.30-10.30 (approx) Practica.

Strengthened COVID PRECAUTIONS (July): Covid is again highly prevalent in England, as most people will have become aware of! We will not ask for proof of negative test, unless it gets even worse. However unless you have strong reasons to believe you are most unlikely to be infected (eg if you have recently recovered from covid)  please do take a test as near to the start time as possible, and if not negative or if you have covid type symptoms please do not come. This means you  need to have test kits to hand....
