Practica tonight/ Classes on Friday/ Beginners in Feb/ Tango SPA/ Milonga 3rd Feb

  • Wednesday Practicas at Warwick SPACE continue this Wednesday, 20th January, 8.15pm-10.15pm  Totally informal social dancing/ practice; come when you can for as long as you like. Cost £5 in cash. No partner needed,  Not a class, so you need to have done some tango, but we welcome newcomers, oldcomers, and visitors!

  • Vessy & Laurence Reid, our guest teachers for January were much appreciated last week. This week their theme is " Elegant figures for the social dance floor"  See last week's newsletter for more.
    Timing & Practica as usual:                                                     
    7pm-8pm: Improvers ;   
    8.30pm -9.30pm: Intermediates/advanced;
    9.30 pm -10.30 pm Practica
    COST: One class £10 (£5 for students with student id), whole evening £15 (£10), practica free with classes otherwise £2 (£4). CASH AT Door.

  • New beginners will be especially welcome at the 6.30 class on Friday February 10th, when our resident teachers Luis Rodrigues & Elizabeth Knock have returned  from Argentina and their classes at St Mary's resume.

  • TANGO SPA v10: October 27th-29th, usual fine venues, fine teachers  (Jenny & Ricardo Oria), fine performers (Jenny & Ricardo, Corina Piatti), fine DJ's (TBA), fine atmosphere, and fine participants. Booking should open at the end of January or very soon after.  In case  you want to go ahead and book your accommodation, the venues are as last time (2021): Friday night@Court House Ball Room (Warwick);  Saturday Ball & Sunday Twilight Tango @ Royal Pump Rooms, Leamington Spa;   Saturday & Sunday afternoon Milonguitas @ Royal Pump Rooms Conservatory;  Saturday & Sunday workshops & practica @ North Hall, Spencer Yard, CV31 3SY, Leamington Spa.
