THIS FRIDAY: EXTENDED FIRST CLASS, then ALL LEVELS VALS. (MIDSUMMER VALS Part I)
Friday 21st will not be as usual:The first class, at 6.30pm to 8.00 (approx.), will be designed with the recently started beginners in mind, but will benefit dancers of all levels, and will also welcome new beginners. Many experience dancers will take it or at least come as early as they can. The second class at 8.15 pm to 9.30 pm will be the first part of a "Midsummer Vals" trilogy and again cater for all levels including those with no experience of tango vals. The second two parts will form the second and third classes on Friday 28th June. There will be opportunity for some guided practice between the two classes, and the classes will be followed by our usual sociable practica with some cake, wine and fine cordials. This is for all participants.
Our teachers Luis Rodriguez & Elizabeth Knock are sometimes available for private or semi-private classes on Saturdays. For this please contact them via Luisyelitango@gmail.com
As always, visiting tangueros will be most welcome. You do not need to come with a partner.

DETAILS: Friday 28th June (as usual but with Vals from 7.30 pm)
Tango Warwick classes in Argentine tango take place on Fridays, normally except the first Friday of each month. There is social dancing with some refreshment for an hour afterwards.
Beginners should join the 6.30 pm Argentine tango class.
If you have been away from tango for a few weeks or years: why not come back now?
Warwick Tango's classes & practica with our resident teachers Luis & Elizabeth give you Friday evenings full of friendly people and exciting classes. They come with the promise of wonderful social events, almost anywhere in the inhabited world.
You do not need to come with a partner.
We welcome single dancers as well as couples, newcomers as well as those we haven't seen for months, irregulars and regulars alike.
Experienced dancers also join the 6.30 pm class in order to perfect their techniques, and help bring on beginners.
The 7.15 pm and 8.30 pm classes are for more experienced dancers (in Argentine Tango). If there can be any doubt about your level, especially for the 8.30 class, please ask the teachers.
Week by week for the classes from 7.30 onwards we usually follow the sequence used in traditional milongas (tango social dances); TTMTTVTTM...where T=tango, M=milonga (the dance, not the social event), V=tango vals, so that the milonga & vals do not get neglected. This week it is the beautiful tango vals! a particular favourite of our teachers. We will have the second two classes of a "Midsummer Vals " trilogy. Google "tango vals Luis & Elizabeth" to see some videos.
The evening is completed by a sociable and lively practica, with some wine, soft drinks and cake. It will be instructive, friendly, and a very enjoyable evening's dancing. You are welcome to stay for the practica even if not doing the later classes: you can read, dream,... or visit a nearby pub (the nearby New Inn, CV31 1DW is in the Good Beer Guide).
The teachers are our superb "resident" teachers: Luis Rodriguez and Elizabeth Knock. Their emphasis on elegance and musicality and with dancing in milongas in mind has made them justly popular.
They are based in London. See https://tangoynadamas.org for more about them. They are sometimes available for private or semi-private classes on Saturdays. For this please contact them via Luisyelitango@gmail.com
