Milonga Ideal, DJ Ricardo Peixoto, this Friday.
IT IS MILONGA IDEAL week, classes resume on Friday 12th July, practicas continue on Wednesdays as usual.
~~~~~~~~~~~
LA MILONGA IDEAL. JULY, "AFTER THE COUNT", EDITION.
Come along and banish any thoughts of swings, collapses, shocks, or what next! Tango Warwick invites you to come, enjoy, and enhance our monthly milonga with our ever popular resident, and brilliant, DJ, Ricardo Peixoto.
We will be at home in Warwick SPACE. It is a large room with a decent floor, in a space reminiscent of Buenos Aires' Sunderland Club (some say), and with great acoustics.
There will be some nibbles, soft drinks, fine cordials and wine for early arrivers, but BYOB if you wish.
We encourage good tango, nice ronda and cabeceo!
It will be the friendly, joyful, welcoming and lively milonga tango dancers have come to love. Above all there will be a warm welcome for visitors and once regulars alike.
TIME: 8pm to midnight. July 5th.
PLACE: Warwick SPACE, 71 Coten End, Warwick CV34 4NU.
COST (at door) : CASH ONLY: £12 (£8 for students with student card). IN CASH. Prebooking not required.
WARWICK SPACE is on the north side of the main road north of the river between Leamington and Warwick; next to the Black Pug pub, aka Millwright Arms, and almost opposite a Sainsbury local. It is a short walk from Warwick Railway Station, and not far from M40 and A46. There are several hotels & B&B's nearby in this tourist area. The Castle Limes Hotel is a few minutes away. The Jephson in Leamington is about 1.3 miles away, inexpensive, but generally found adequate. Some swear by its breakfast.
PARKING is mostly on road, especially towards Warwick on the main road or Smith Street (one way, going East), on back streets (not very easy), or towards Warwick station. The St Nicholas Park car park is about 10 minutes walk away but you probably could do with a torch on the way back.
Hope to see you,
David, for Tango Warwick.
